Cassie Ross was born and raised in Western North Carolina. After graduating high school early and attending Savannah College of Art & Design during her senior year, she went on to attend Sweet Briar College in Virginia.
Following graduation from Sweet Briar College, she built a successful career in Washington, D.C., serving as the Business Development Director for the Washington Symphony Orchestra at just 22 years old, working in fundraising for the Washington National Cathedral and The Brookings Institution, and later transitioning into the commercial sector.
With a family background in real estate and construction, her path naturally evolved into construction and real estate marketing. She gained valuable experience with two national real estate firms and an international construction company before returning to North Carolina. Following her move, she spent several years in marketing for a government contractor, including the unique experience of working in Washington State on the decommissioning of a nuclear site.
Today, Cassie serves as both a Broker and Marketing Director for Highlands-Cashiers Sotheby’s International Realty. She brings industry expertise and a proven track record to every client relationship, combining creative vision with the global reach of Sotheby’s International Realty. Her focus is on helping sellers maximize value, guiding buyers to the right property, and ensuring that every listing is positioned for success on a worldwide stage.
With deep roots in this community, she has a lifelong appreciation for the charm and beauty of the region she is proud to call home.
When she’s not working, Cassie enjoys all the mountains have to offer with her husband and their two young children.
